Some examples of our CSR efforts in the Norwegian division are below:
Most of the local media houses in Edda Media take an active part in the development of their communities sponsoring local sports clubs, cultural groups and events. Some of the media houses have established awards, prizes and scholarships within the sports or culture fields and support schools providing training materials and the opportunity for school classes to edit special pages in the newspaper.
Edda Media has been one of the key sponsors in a project to write the history of the Norwegian Press which is to be launched as a four volume history work in 2010 in connection with the celebration of the centenary of The Norwegian Press Association and The Norwegian Publishers Association.
