Mecom’s Danish division, headquartered in Copenhagen and operating under the name Berlingske Media (“Berlingske”), is the largest publisher of national and regional daily newspapers and free door-to-door newspapers in Denmark, with approximately 54 per cent of the regional circulation market and approximately 33 per cent of the total Danish newspaper market.

Berlingske also operates more than 70 websites, 5 mobile sites, a radio station and 5 (of which 3 are wholly-owned and 2 are part-owned) printing plants, which print both Group and third-party publications. In a country with a population of over 5 million, Berlingske’s publications have a readership of more than 2.6 million every week, while its online operations attract more than 7.7 million unique users every month.
