The Group’s Norwegian division, Edda Media, is the second strongest player in the local media market in Norway, mainly positioned in the eastern (and most populated) part of the country. Edda Media operates through 8 regional media houses, reaching out to more than one million Norwegians daily. The product portfolio comprises 31 newspapers (dailies, weeklies and free-sheets), 57 websites, 19 mobile sites, and 2 local radio stations. Edda Media’s publications have a readership of more than a million per week (2008: 1.1 million) and its online operations attract more than 5.3 million unique users per month (2008: 5.1 million). Edda Media operates three print plants that print both Group and third-party publications.
